I can provide any additonal info as needed, thanks so much in advance. I'd just love to at least see my brand new ds4 controller performing as well as my 5 year old one, and any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I've spent hours and hours trying to troubleshoot what could be going on, but I simply can't find anything (or anyone with similar issues) I'm hoping that the Bluetooth adapter just solves all my problems, giving me optimal input delay (lower than 3.5ms ideally), but it can't hurt to see if there are some other possibilities. the problem is, on my original ds4 controller the input hovers around 3.5ms, but the brand new controller on the very same cable is always much higher around 10ms. since I hadn't yet learned that the input lag is actually better via Bluetooth, I had been using a USB cable while my by adapter is in the mail. since everything checked out and seemed stable, I went ahead and bought a brand new dualshock 4 controller. Some games only support DS4 controllers or DS4 controller rumble when using Steam’s Playstation Configuration Support.I just started using ds4w and it had been great for a week on my original PS4 controller. Most games only have working rumble when using Xbox controllers even if the game supports both Xbox and DualShock 4 controllers. If they don’t work there then it’s a hardware issue with your controller or you have a third-party / copy-cat controller that doesn’t have rumble or does not work with DS4Windows Things I tried: When running DS4Windows (the maintained fork) it showed. Still on the Other tab test there if both your motors are working. With less input lag and latency issues compared to other apps out there.Check on your profile settings’ Other tab if the rumble is not at 0%.Keep in mind that these features may or may not work well with games in this version and support will not be given to users that aren’t to the latest version The last version to have these features enabled was v3.0.10.The issue causes the controller to occasionally not stop rumbling or to set wrong lightbar colors.Because of an issue with the ViGEmBus, DS4Windows has disabled support for rumble and the Lightbar passthru mode when using virtual DS4 controllers. There is a lot to explore in DS4Windows, like Axis Config, Gyro, etc. Gooberking FGC Cannon Fodder 2 Super interesting. Been doing this for about a week and its seems to be safe im not responsible if your controller explode. For example Jax Quadgrab KB is ez as fuck now. I noticed that there is a lot of players who use DS4Windows/Ryochan7 to play Rocket League with a PS4 controller, so I was wondering if there is any specific settings that would help to improve my gameplay. 1 In short you will be overclocking your DS4 controller it reduce the interval between inputs and hardware by a lot i mean a lot. Rumble and lightbar passthrough are currently disabled when DS4 emulation is active Best DS4Windows Settings For Rocket League. If possible, when the random camera movement is perceived mid-game try to quickly alt-tab and test this to check the stick position.Sometimes the drift appears or disappears randomly, making it hard to properly confirm if the stick is 100% OK It’s recommended to make this test MANY TIMES and at different periods.Even if it appears to be centered, try moving it to different positions and let it snap back to the center on its own many times to fully confirm it’s properly functioning.Values above +/- 0.08 are enough to cause drifting issues on DS4Windows default settings I just started using ds4w and it had been great for a week on my original PS4 controller. With this profile active, open the Gamepad Tester Website and verify if your stick is correctly centered when at a resting position. Select this profile on the main Controllers tab everytime you want to test your real stick behavior.Set both the dead zone and anti dead zone to 0.00 in this new profile for both sticks (LS and RS).Make this profile’s name “stick position test”.Create a new profile and choose one of the Gamepad Presets DS4Windows recommends.
